Wendy began her nursing career over 40 years ago at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital and has worked in Primary Care for over 20 years. She is passionate about connecting with communities and delivering high quality healthcare for all.
Wendy is an Endorsed Nurse Practitioner. She graduated from the University of Newcastle with a Masters in Nursing (Nurse Practitioner) in 2011 and has a Diploma in Applied Science (Nursing) and Post Graduate qualifications in Reproductive and Sexual Health. She has training in Providing IUD and Implant insertion and removal.
Her recent experience has included General Practice working in Aboriginal Health Services and Women’s Health. Wendy also works as an academic at the University of Wollongong tutoring in Anatomy and Physiology, Nursing Law and Indigenous Health Care and is affiliated with Monash University.
Wendy provides a holistic approach to healthcare and delivers the highest standard of evidence-based care with compassion and respect.
Wendy is a member of the Australian Nurse Practitioner College, APNA and is a member of SPHERE Women’s SRH Coalition – The NHMRC Centre of Research and Excellence in Sexual and Reproductive Health for Women in Primary Care.
