Perinatal Psychologist – Interpersonal Therapy, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy and ACT (Acceptance & Commitment Therapy)
Rebecca Reidy is now providing Perinatal Psychology services from The Women’s Health Centre each Tuesday morning and other times by arrangement. This service is suitable for women seeking counselling support around conception, fertility, IVF, pregnancy related stress and pregnancy loss, as well as women with birth trauma, post-natal mood disorders and difficulty adjusting after birth or bonding with their baby. Rebecca also supports new parents dealing with cry-fuss, feed and sleep issues using the neuroprotective developmental care approach.
Interpersonal Therapy, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy and ACT (Acceptance & Commitment Therapy) are utilised to support clients’ therapeutic goals and emotional wellbeing. Perinatal Psychology for Mothers and their infants applies a framework informed by attachment and developmental theories and works with the Mother Infant relationship.
